- To send optional push notifications when status changes are detected.
- To monitor and improve app performance using analytics and crash logs.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties. We may share anonymized or aggregated usage data with service providers (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics) strictly for diagnostics, app analytics, and crash reporting.
5. Security Measures
All communication is secured via TLS encryption. Data is stored in secure systems with access restricted to authorized personnel. We regularly audit our security practices to align with current industry standards.
6. User Rights
Users can request deletion of personal data (including receipt numbers and push tokens) by contacting us via email. Data will be deleted promptly upon identity verification.
7. No Government Affiliation
This app is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or any other U.S. government agency. Case data is sourced solely from the public-facing USCIS case tracker: https://egov.uscis.gov.
8. Use of Public Government Data
The App accesses case status data exclusively from the public USCIS case status website. It does not interface with secure or internal government systems. Data retrieved is based only on the receipt number input by the user.
9. Use of Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to enhance app performance:
- Firebase: For push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Stripe: For secure in-app tipping/payment processing. Email addresses and tip amounts are transmitted securely only when tipping is used.

12. In-App AI Assistance / Chatbot
The App includes an optional AI-powered assistant/chatbot feature that can provide general information related to USCIS processes. This feature is for informational purposes only and does not provide any type of legal advice.
All conversations with the AI assistant are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you use the AI assistant, your questions are sent securely to a third-party AI service provider, Google Gemini API, in real time to generate a response. We do not keep copies of these conversations.
- Google Gemini API: Used to provide real-time AI-generated responses within the in-app assistant. Chat messages are processed securely and are not stored on our servers. For more details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
The AI service provider may temporarily process your input to generate responses, in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not link any chat content to your identity unless you voluntarily share personal information within the conversation.
The App provides a feature to delete your chat history at any time, ensuring you have full control over your stored conversation data on your device.
